So you want to know a bit about SWD do you?

Well................
I got a computer in May of 2000 and at the time didn't know how to turn it on. I had my son's friend give me a bit of tutoring for 3 months then he left me to fend for myself.

I discovered that I enjoyed making web pages and did that for a while, then I got Paint Shop Pro and began making graphics. I loved PSP as most people do and began tubing.

In January of 2005 I decided to begin using my KPT5 program and make Fuzzy Friends in a collection which have been a big hit among members in one of my groups. I hope to continue making more Fuzzy Friends and expanding my graphics abilities.

I am a retired nurse and my inspiration in life comes from my soul mate, best friend and husband Brian, who I have been married to since July 21st 1977. Brian has always supported me in all of my endeavors and is the only man I have ever truly loved. Our 4 children are the next inspiration to me and they are Lee-Anne, Ryan, Daniel, and Sarah.

I am also very blessed with 4 beautiful grandchildren who are Tori, Tristen, Meagan and Elise. They are the light in my life and keep me feeling young and on my toes. I love to spend time with them and I also am glad when I can return them to their parents at the end of a visit. Being a grandmother is a charm and I find that recently I have been able to appreciate the fact of being a grandmother much more since I seem to have a little more time on my hands.

Life is always a challenge and raising children has always been the biggest of life's challenges. My motto as a parent is unconditional love that I have always bestowed upon my children and in this day and age when there are so many influences on a child's growing up, it is a good motto to adhere by.

I believe in guiding my children when they need it, but not interfering in their growth and development of who they are. I accept them for who they are and try not to judge them for the mistakes they make. After all, making mistakes is a part of the learning process and without them along the way, we would never be able to grow.

As my hobbies, I enjoy knitting, reading, traveling around the world, meeting new people and computer graphics and designs. So......that's about it. I enjoy hearing from you so stop into my guest book and leave me a few words or so and I will probably get back to you shortly afterwards unless I am away on one of my travels.
